CHARLESTON, W.Va, (WCHS) — On Thursday night the Kanawha County Commission approved 100,000 dollars in funding for Camp Virgil Tate.

"That's 20% of our overall annual budget and it means a lot, the additional 40,000. Now we can start doing repairs that the list keeps going on and on," 4-H Foundation treasurer Oscar Hutchison said.

This comes after the commission decided to not restore funding following liability issues being brought to light of children being housed at the camp leading to multiple calls to the police.
