Eleanor Hunton Hoppe, the 47-year-old Charlottesville socialite who pleaded guilty last year to distributing child pornography in a plot to molest a young girl, was sentenced Thursday to 135 months in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia.
The sentence handed down by U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras also mandates 10 years of supervised release and requires Hoppe to register as a sex offender for at least 25 years.
