DES MOINES, Iowa —

President Donald Trump is appealing an order that keeps his lawsuit against pollster J. Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register in federal court.

Trump sued the paper over its final poll ahead of the 2024 election.

The poll showed Kamala Harris leading Trump among likely Iowa voters. Trump ended up winning Iowa by double digits.

Trump claims the poll was election interference and violated a state consumer fraud act.

The Register's parent company, Gannett, filed to move the lawsuit to federal court because it involves parties in different states.
