AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Brielle Worley’s path to volleyball success hasn’t looked like most athletes’. A proud Amarillo native, Worley is hard of hearing—but she hasn’t let that stand in the way of her athletic dreams.

Worley, a graduate of Amarillo High School, was recently named once again to the Deaf National Volleyball Team, an honor she’s earned multiple times in her career.

“It’s really special, it’s really nice to play with deaf and hard of hearing athletes and just show we can do everything, and be good role models for the younger players, just representing the country,” Worley said. “It feels so different. It’s great. I went to the Deaf Olympics in 2021 in Brazil, and we got fifth there. Then, we went to the World Championships last year. We got second and to bring home a
