ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Charles County School District is bringing back an educational program it ended last year.
The Francis Howell School Board voted Thursday to bring back BrainPOP for the next school year.
First Alert 4 reported last year the district canceled the program . At that time, the board vice president, Randy Cook, claimed the program had “injected far-left ideologies” into their content.
Cook is no longer on the school board.
BrainPOP is an educational platform that uses tools like videos and games that teachers can use to support their lessons.
Before it was canceled last year, the district had a contract with BrainPOP for nearly a decade.
