Vancouver police officers on Thursday arrested a third suspect related to a drive-by shooting last month in the parking lot of a community center near an elementary school.
Police were called at about 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, to the Jim Parsley Community Center at 4100 Plomondon St. to investigate the shooting after a fight broke out.
The center is owned and operated by Vancouver Public Schools and is next door to Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School and near Bagley Community Park.
On Thursday, shortly before 2:30 p.m., detectives and members of the SW Washington SWAT team arrested 21-year-old Jarod Ngiraibuuch at an apartment at 2900 General Anderson Ave., not far from the community center.
Police took him to the Clark County Jail, where he faces charges of drive-by shooting,
