FLORIN, Calif. —
Emergency crews responded to a grass fire off Highway 99 in Sacramento County on Thursday afternoon.
The fire started just after 5 p.m. near Tangerine Avenue in Florin.
LiveCopter 3 was over the scene and showed a dark smoke plume and heavy flames coming from the fire.
The fire has been contained, and it burned one to two acres, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
No structures were threatened. The cause of the fire is unknown.
