ORANGEVILLE/CEDARVILLE (WREX) — Just a few miles apart along Route 26 in Stephenson County, the small towns of Cedarville and Orangeville each boast fewer than a thousand residents but share a strong sense of community.

"Orangeville is a typical farm community and you have this pride in your town," said Paula Fulton, President of the Mighty Richland Players Dessert Theatre.

"It's a nice little community. It really is. As small as it is it really has a lot going for it," said Andy Dvorak.

Cedarville is notable for its historical significance as the birthplace of Jane Addams.

"[It's] not an exaggeration to say she's probably one of the half dozen most important women in American history," Dvorak, a board member with the Cedarville Area Historical Society, said.
