FARGO — As several Fargo students celebrated their next chapter, their superintendent marked the end of his own.

Rupak Gandhi’s final day as superintendent of Fargo Public Schools was Thursday, June 5.

His last official act, after seven years in the role, was helping celebrate the graduation of GED students at Dakota High School, which he called a fitting end.

He said the district’s commitment to education remains strong and hopes the community will continue to show its support.

“I hope that we continue to support one another, versus being divisive, because at the end of the day, it’s not about one type of education or the other, it’s about making sure that every child has an option for a quality education based on what’s best for their learning style,” Gandhi said.
