A 15-year-old girl who went missing from Snoqualmie last Friday was found dead over the weekend in Shoreline, prompting a homicide investigation, according to the King County sheriff’s office.
The girl, Azjanae Brooks, was shot in the head and neck Saturday. Where she was killed is unknown, according to the King County medical examiner’s office.
No arrests have been made, according to the sheriff’s office. Her disappearance was initially investigated by the Snoqualmie Police Department.
