COOK, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Following a nearly undefeated year of archery competition, a 10-year-old girl from Cook will now compete against the best young archers in the world.
Bailey Brunner loves to win, and in two short years with the Northwoods Grizzlies school archery elementary school team, she’s picked up a lot of them.
“This is my third year actually shooting but second year in competition, and it’s just been a fun journey to be on because you get to travel a lot and see a lot of beautiful land,” said Bailey.
This past year, she dominated regional competitions finishing in first place for 14 of her 15 events including her most recent win at the 2025 National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Western Nationals in both the 3D and Bullseye elementary girls competitions i
