OMAHA, Neb. —

The family of Janidi Ibrahim reached out to KETV NewsWatch 7, saying they're still in pain and the only justice they can get now is seeing the body cam footage.

The family said after Thursday's news conference , they still have questions.

They said they are distraught by the loss of Ibrahim and in disbelief at the details shared by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The family gathered outside their house Thursday night, expressing pain and frustration they've felt since their son was killed, saying they are disappointed that the sheriff's office did not tell them what was going on when their son was shot across the street from their house.
