Two major road projects will bring closures to Elkhart County starting Monday, June 9. State Road 119 near Wakarusa will be closed between State Road 19 and County Road 9 as crews realign County Road 7 to improve safety. The project, led by INDOT, is expected to finish by early October. County Road 7 will be closed at State Road 119, and flaggers will manage traffic in the area. In downtown Wakarusa, milling and paving will also continue this week, weather permitting. No parking is allowed on affected streets, including: Railroad St. (S. Elkhart St. to E.
