RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) -Richmond police say a man has died after a shooting in the city’s northside Thursday night.

Just before 9:30 p.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Chamberlayne Avenue for a reported person shot. Officers arrived and found a man inside a building who had been shot.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This investigation is ongoing, and detectives are not looking for any suspects at this time.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
