Residents outraged by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions in and around town during the past several weeks came before the Select Board Tuesday , June 3, to voice their frustrations, fears and hopes for town actions going forward.

Several residents who spoke decried the ICE “kidnappings,” as they describe the detentions.

Town Manager Michael Renshaw took a chance to speak on immigration before those residents spoke, though, sharing that his office has put together “Know Your Rights” resources on the main landing page of the town’s website ( falmouthma.gov ) for those who may be impacted by ICE’s raids and ramped-up enforcement practices.

Renshaw responded directly to recent immigration enforcement in the area, calling it “madness.”
