A person clad in a moose costume, pink mouth prominent, danced through throngs of concertgoers gathered Thursday afternoon at the foot of a stage in the Railyard.
"There's a moose on the loose," members of the long-running musical act Ozomatli sang during their performance for children. The kids participated by keeping an eye on the rambling moose and crying out with the band, "There's a moose on the loose."
The festive scene kicked off a summer entertainment series sponsored by Lensic 360 and the city of Santa Fe. Together, they are bringing more than 50 free movies and concerts to various outdoor venues between now and August as part of Santa Fe Summer Scene 2025.
