CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Police Department responded to an incident on West East Avenue in Chico Thursday.

According to a post on social media around 4:47 p.m., the Chico Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies were at the scene of an incident in the 200 block of West East Avenue in Chico Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say that there was no immediate danger to the public from the incident. Chico Police says that the public can expect to see personnel in the area while the investigation into the incident continues.
