SPRINGVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — A 2News investigation uncovered how a Springville police sergeant dodged criminal charges with the aid of his own police administrators.

Springville Police Sergeant Larry Teuscher performed multiple unauthorized inquiries in Utah's Bureau of Criminal Identification database — all in an effort to find dirt on his ex-wife's boyfriend, even soliciting a sheriff's deputy on one occasion to do it for him.
