California's top prosecutor is now helping cities and counties crackdown on copper wire thefts, which has been a big problem here in Kern County.
On Thursday, State Attorney General Rob Bonta held a round-table with law enforcement and other officials to talk solutions.
Bonta says copper wire theft doesn't just impact rural communities, but schools, offices, telecommunications, and other infrastructure statewide. Bonta and the roundtable aimed to share solutions and commit to actionable pathways to tackle this issue.
