ST. LOUIS — James Brown, St. Louis Lambert International Airport's lobbyist in Washington for 45 years, is poised to continue in that role for at least three more.
The city Airport Commission on Wednesday voted to keep contracting with Brown's firm, Brown and Associates, through June 2028.
A deal worked out with the company calls for it to be paid $150,000 a year for each of the next three years, beginning July 1.
A city selection panel recommended Brown over the St. Louis law firm of Thompson Coburn, which also sought the contract.
Brown's firm, which also includes four other people, helps Lambert get federal grants and also deals with Congress and an international airport organization. Brown's firm, through a subcontract with another lobbyist, also handles Lambert-related lobbying in
