Those who have an interest in gardening but don't know where to begin, have an upcoming opportunity to learn from the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture .
The organization will hosts its Farm Your Field Day event 2-7 p.m. June 14 at the Columbia Agriculture Park, 1769 W. Ash St. This event will feature a series of gardening workshops from 2-5:30 p.m., with a social hour from 5:30-6 p.m., where the final hour of the day will serve as an "Ask a Gardener" Q&A.
Workshop examples include "How to start a no-till, lasagna garden bed," "Gardening Basics" and "Attracting beneficial insects for pest control," among others.
