On March 3, the Cathedral City Senior Center held its annual Un-Gala, a festive fundraiser inspired by Cinco de Mayo. The invitation requested that guests "come as they are" to enjoy live music, cocktails and authentic Mexican tacos.

The center’s doors were open from 4 to 7 p.m. to senior center members, members of the community, local philanthropists and others involved in the local charity world.

It was nice to see many familiar faces, including Michael Phipps-Russell, Frank Goldstin, Paul Clowers and Kim Hardee, along with long-time members Art Gregoire and Terry Nelson and philanthropist Bobbi Lampros.
