WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County African American Achievers Association is hosting its annual Heritage Festival from Friday, June 6, to Sunday, June 8, in downtown Warren's Courthouse Square. The festival, which celebrates African American culture and achievement, will feature a variety of activities for all ages.

The festival kicks off Friday at 11 a.m. with an opening ceremony, followed by vendors, food trucks, and entertainment throughout the day. Hubbs Groove is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. The festival runs until 9 p.m.

Saturday’s events begin with a parade at 10:30 a.m. A dedication of the Black Veterans Bridge is also scheduled. The day will include a talent show, line dancing, music, health tents, rides, and more vendors. The festival hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday fea
