FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne police say two teens have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that took place on the city’s south side early Sunday morning.

The shooting, which happened around 2 a.m. Sunday, left an 86-year-old woman dead in her home on the 900 block of Colerick Street. The victim was later identified as Alice Hall.

Devon Stewart Jr and William Britt, both 18, are each facing a preliminary murder charge in connection with Hall’s shooting death.

Both men were taken into custody without incident early Friday morning and are currently being held at the Allen County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.
