Lil Wayne just dropped his new album Tha Carter VI and it's got a few noteworthy tracks with some surprising samples.
Weezy's 14th solo studio album, which dropped on Friday, June 6, has 19 tracks featuring a slew of rising and seasoned artists across various genres. Following the fanfare of his intro "King Carter" and "Welcome To The Carter," Wayne channels his inner LL COOL J on "Bells," which samples the Queens MC's 1985 hit "Rock The Bells." The Young Money co-founder continues to pay homage to the rap game on the next track, "Hip-Hop" with BigXthaPlug and Jay Jones, but he doesn't stop there.
