Iam very concerned about the potential for aquatic invasive species introduction from wake boat ballast water as well as the lake bottom scouring and shoreline erosion that can occur through wake-enhanced boating .

It's essential that we establish state-wide standards for wake-enhanced boating that mirror statewide regulations for things such as groundwater, surface water, and wetlands protection. A patchwork of local varying regulations will be hard to interpret and follow for most citizens. In many instances though, it will fall to local government to help with regulatory monitoring and enforcement.
