BAXTER — A recovery connection barbecue to raise funds for Lighthouse Beginnings is set for noon to 4 p.m. June 21.

The event is at Lighthouse Beginnings and Open Arms Day Center at 8055 Industrial Road, Baxter, with food, family, fun, games, raffles and prizes. Funds will support the Open Arms Day Center and other initiatives by Lighthouse Beginnings to help the homeless and those in need in the community.

Donations to the nonprofit will come with various levels of recognition, with a $1,000 donation guaranteeing entry into a big drawing, radio time, name on apparel and fliers, a star with name, Facebook recognition, name on a banner and a poster.
