MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Broad Street is closed in Murfreesboro Friday morning after a serious crash.

The crash happened at NW Broad Street and Medical Center Parkway around 5:45 a.m.

Power lines and a telephone pole are down across the roadway.

Traffic is being diverted at the bridge over Broad. It is not known if anyone was injured in the crash.

Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route.
