ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are investigating after they said a vehicle intentionally damaged the storefront of a gas station on West Main Street.
News 8 arrived at the gas station and saw the front door of the storefront damaged, along with RPD cars parked nearby.
According to RPD, the driver of the vehicle deliberately backed into the store entrance in what appears to be an attempted burglary.
Despite the damage, the suspect was unable to gain entry into the building and drove away in an unknown direction.
RPD is continuing to investigate the situation and is searching for witnesses or video of the incident.
