Deadly deputy-involved shooting ruled justified.
Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said the deputy who killed 19-year-old Janidi Ibrahim was justified in using deadly force.
Authorities said that on the night of the shooting , a special operations group was conducting a firearms investigation near 48th and Pratt street.
DCSO Sgt. Jesse Ronk said he pulled over to investigate after a light was pointed at him as he drove past the location.
Lt. Jason Stelleck, who oversaw the DCSO investigation into the shooting, said there were 17 seconds between the time Ibrahim pointed a gun at Ronk to the time the sergeant fired two shots at Ibrahim.
