DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Karen Read’s murder retrial resumes Friday after a day off. Judge Beverly Cannone gave jurors the day off Thursday due to the high heat. According to Boston affiliate WCVB, the judge also told jurors Wednesday that trial is ahead of schedule. Defense attorneys will continue to call more witnesses Friday.
