The feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump exploded online Thursday (June 5), with the president calling the Tesla CEO “CRAZY” and the tech billionaire saying the Republican candidate would’ve lost the 2024 election without his support.

The public back-and-forth between the two former allies seemingly started Tuesday (June 3) after Musk slammed Trump’s massive tax and immigration package as a “disgusting abomination.”

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote of Trump’s self-proclaimed “big, beautiful bill.” “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
