Here’s what you need to know about Saginaw’s Greek Festival

SAGINAW TWP., MI – Get ready to say “Opa!” because Saginaw’s celebration of Greek culture is returning next weekend with Greek entertainment, food, and drinks.

The St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church will host Saginaw’s 47th annual Greek Festival from Friday, June 13, to Sunday, June 15. The church is located at 4970 Mackinaw Road in Saginaw Township.

The festival will feature live music and traditional dance performances, including performances by Enigma Detroit, a Detroit-based Greek band, throughout the festival.

Guests are also invited to join in traditional Greek dances regardless of experience.

Festivalgoers will be able to try a variety of Greek foods at multiple tents serving gyros, Greek fries, calamari, pastichio, moussaka, tiropita, dolmathes, and loukoumades.
