Kemi Badenoch just bizarrely described Nigel Farage’s Reform UK as “another left-wing party”.

The populist movement has become a rival right-wing opponent to the Conservatives over the last year.

While leading in the opinion polls – the Tories are currently trailing in fourth place – Reform clinched a staggering 677 council seats in the English local elections last month and won the Runcorn and Helsby by-election.

Though it just lost this week’s crunch Scottish by-election in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse to Labour, Reform came in third place and the Tories came in fourth with an abysmal 6% of the vote.

But Badenoch brushed off concerns her party is being replaced by Reform on the right at a press conference today.
