NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A 19-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he participated in a violent robbery involving multiple firearms and a shootout near downtown Nashville.

According to an arrest affidavit, Myles Vaughn is accused of using a handgun to demand an AR-style pistol from another man before teaming up with an accomplice to threaten several people and exchange gunfire.

The incident unfolded around 4:27 a.m. on June 2, when Metro officers responded to a shots-fired call on Fern Avenue. There, they found Vaughn with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to Skyline Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
