GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Sometimes it can be hard to find time to take a step back and relax but even in the Upstate’s busy towns, neighbors can find pockets of peace.

Jason Snipe is a full time mechanic but his true passion is on his tractor. He said the view from the driver’s seat has changed due to growing traffic in our area but he’s learned to accept it.

“Just move on and keep doing what we are doing,” said Snipe. “The growth is good for everyone.”

Snipe said the growing traffic and busy roads is just a sign of economic growth.

Even with growth all around, Snipe said there’s still a place where you can find peace 10 minutes away in the countryside.

“Just peace,” said Snipe. “No one here but you and God and the tractor it’s peaceful.”
