Let's have a fabulous Friday! After a 2-week break from 90-degree temperatures, the sizzling heat returns today with highs in the lower 90s. Heat index values will also climb into the upper 90s this afternoon.

As of the chance of rain, we can't get rid of it completely due to some lingering moisture from Wednesday's coastal low. The coverage will be lower than the mid-week widespread rain we saw. Only isolated showers and t-storms are possible here and there in the afternoon and evening.
