CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Authorities have made five more arrests in the weekend mass shooting that turned a house party into a deadly scene in Catawba County.

The incident left one man dead and 11 others injured after more than 80 rounds were fired into a crowd of nearly 100 partygoers late on June 1.

New arrests

Toland Huff Jr., 20, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, two counts of accessory after the fact, AWDW intent to kill, discharging a firearm in the city and two probation violations.

Izaiah Kane Mitchell, 18, of Morganton, was arrested after being charged with first-degree murder. He also was wanted in a separate armed-robbery case in Burke County.
