Detroit Lions Hall of Fame running back, Barry Sanders, is starring in an upcoming documentary on A&E, but it has nothing to do with football.

Sanders, 56, will talk about a heart-related health issue he had last June in, “ The Making of a Heart Attack ,” premiering on Saturday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m. on A&E.

In the documentary, Sanders talks about his heart issue over Father’s Day weekend as he brings together four other people who faced a heart attack or stroke to uncover the hidden risks, lasting impacts and what they want others to know.

Last year, Sanders did not reveal any specifics about his condition. He may shed some light on exactly what happened to him in the documentary. Here is what Sanders said last year at the time.
