A second person has died after suffering serious injuries in a horror crash that hospitalised multiple motorcyclists.

Four motorcyclists were involved in a crash with a car on the A36 at Knook, south of Warminster, at around 10.30am on Saturday, May 31, sparking a large emergency service response.

62-year-old biker Rob Best died at the scene and three others were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police have now confirmed one of these victims, a woman in her 60s who was not named, has died in hospital.

She had been riding pillion on a different motorcycle to Rob at the time of the crash.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have urged any witnesses they have not yet spoken with to come forward.
