Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region are in for one more day of rain on Friday.
KOAA Meteorologist Kevin O'Brien said severe weather is expected again, with the a combination of shear and instability giving residents the potential to receive large hail and strong wind gusts.
"Storms should develop between 1 to 3 p.m., moving off the mountains and through the Pikes Peak area," he said. "It will be a good day to be weather aware."
O'Brien said Saturday is the dry day around Colorado Springs, with morning sun and afternoon clouds.
"Highs will be notably warmer - just below 80 degrees," he said.
Daily shower and thunderstorm chances return on Sunday and continue through at least next Thursday each afternoon as well.
