Hundreds of kids will descend on Esther Short Park on Saturday to put their entrepreneurial skills to work at this year’s Junior Market.

The Greater Vancouver Chamber is hosting its fourth annual Junior Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Vancouver Farmers Market in downtown Vancouver.

This year’s market will gather 350 young vendors to sell their products, which include handcrafted goods, artwork and small-scale services.

Janet Kenefsky, vice president of operations at the chamber and director of Lemonade Day Greater Vancouver, estimates 15,000 visitors will pass by their booths.

She said participants learn what it takes to run a business, how to spend and how to save.

“They’re learning that they can add value to the workforce when they get there,” Kenefsky said.
