PORTAGE — Police say a 22-year-old local man twice fired a rifle into the ceiling of his home during an argument with a woman.

"You have a rude awakening coming," Kameron Osbun allegedly told the woman before shooting.

Osbun, who explained the bullet holes in the ceiling by saying his rifle had misfired on two separate occasions when the woman was not present, was taken into custody and is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, records show.

Portage police said they were called out shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday to the 100 block of Coral Avenue for a report of a disturbance.
