GRAND RAPIDS, MI--Swaths of Michigan have been blanketed in a smoky haze from Canadian wildfires for the last several days.
From the Keweenaw Peninsula to the Mackinac Bridge and areas across lower Michigan, smoky skies could be seen throughout the week.
Over the years we’ve had an occasional patch of smoke from western wildfires. In the last few years the wildfire smoke has covered our Michigan sky more often, has been thicker and is bringing some health concerns.
