OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A police pursuit ended in crash near Spencer Friday morning.

According to police, an officer was responding to a different call when he noticed a driver speed past him. When he tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped off.

A short pursuit began before the driver crashed into a tree near NE 23rd St. and Post Rd. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital and then taken into custody.
