Voters between the Arkansas River and Lewis Avenue in midtown have an election on Tuesday, with two people on the ballot who care about where Oklahoma is headed.
On the Republican side is Beverly Atteberry, who has appeared on ballots before in an effort to serve her community as she does as an attorney and volunteer among several nonprofits.
Atteberry beat Tania Garza in the GOP primary in which only 222 of about 9,000 registered Republicans voted.
Atteberry said her top three issues are improving public education, growing the economy and widening the major highways in the state to six lanes.
