ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — Virginia State Police (VSP) said a 78-year-old died after a crash in Rockbridge County.

VSP said they are investigating a two-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality.

According to VSP, the crash occurred on Wednesday at 3:06 p.m. on East Midland Trail, at the intersection of Memorial Lane in Rockbridge County.

A 2018 Jaguar XF failed to yield the right-of-way while entering East Midland Trail and was hit by a 2012 Honda Civic, which was traveling east on Midland Trail, VSP said.

According to VSP, the driver of the Jaguar was identified as Melodie Vohar, 78, of Lexington. Vohar was wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene. The
