PHOENIX — A small Cessna C-150 aircraft crashed near Deer Valley Airport north of Phoenix Friday morning. Both people onboard were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Firefighters were called to the area 7th Street and Pinnacle Peak Road around 5:30 a.m. and found the two occupants outside of the plane.

Helicopter video showed that the plane had landed upside down.
Fortunately, neither of them were seriously hurt. Officials said that a 21-year-old woman who was hospitalized only had minor facial injuries.
Police at the scene of the crash said that about five minutes after takeoff, the plane lost power and tried to turn around, but didn't make it to the runway.
