ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - U.S. Soccer will hold a topping out ceremony for its training center in Fayetteville on Friday.

The training center, which broke ground in April 2024, is scheduled to open before the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup.

The 200,000-square-foot, high-performance facility will house locker rooms, meeting spaces and headquarters space for U.S. Soccer.

The campus will also have 100,000 square feet of indoor courts for all 27 national teams, plus dozens of outdoor fields.

U.S. Soccer chose Fayetteville for its new headquarters and training center after being headquartered in Chicago since 1991.

Organizers are expected to deliver remarks during the event scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Atlanta News First with have live coverage on ANF+.
