Two more arrests made in Hartcliffe attempted murder probe

Two more people have been arrested and questioned on suspicion of attempted murder following a pair of fail-to-stop collisions which took place in south Bristol last week.

The latest announcement comes off the back of five previous arrests made during police inquires as detectives continue to investigate the collisions that occurred in Hartcliffe on Thursday, May 29.

In both incidents, a stolen black Mini Cooper failed to stop at the scene and the vehicle was later abandoned in Hillcrest where four people were seen walking away from the car.

The first incident happened in Teyfant Road at about 12.30pm, where two teenage boys were struck while on a Sur-Ron bike — both victims were able to escape serious injury.
